Chris Koehnke focuses on public sector, construction, government law and civil litigation. He has extensive experience representing business and governmental clients in courts throughout Wisconsin. His construction practice includes construction litigation involving contractors, owners, home inspectors and other professionals. He also assists contractors, architects, engineers, consultants and other professionals with preparing construction contracts and risk avoidance procedures.
Chris also serves as the Assistant Village Attorney for the Villages of Elm Grove, Lannon, Hartland and Lac La Belle, and has previously served as Interim Assistant City Attorney for the City of West Allis.
Chris has written articles on the use of community benefit agreements in land development projects and other legal developments impacting the construction industry.
He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), State Bar of Wisconsin, and Milwaukee Bar Association.
