Daniel advises public and private companies, including closely held companies, senior management, and boards of directors on a diverse range of business matters including corporate governance, strategic alternatives, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, securities and capital markets issues, and Blue Sky.
Daniel's transactional work includes mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating corporate agreements, public and private securities offerings, tender offers and entity liquidations on behalf of both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including financial institutions and public and private real estate companies. He has advised companies in securities offerings in excess of $12 billion and acted as outside general counsel to a number of clients. Daniel regularly counsels clients on matters that relate to director fiduciary duties, securities disclosure issues and conflicts of interest.
In addition, Daniel serves on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and the NC State University Alumni Association.
