Daniel P. McAlvanah is Of Counsel in the Madison, Wisconsin, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He focuses on cost-effective representation of employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims. He has defended employers in large-scale collective and class actions filed under the FLSA and Wisconsin’s wage and hour statutes, including claims for off-the-clock work and unlawful deductions from pay.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. McAlvanah advises management and human resources professionals in litigation avoidance techniques, wage and hour compliance strategies, employee termination decisions, and legal obligations under Title VII, the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Americans With Disabilities Act. He has extensive experience representing employers before the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, and also practices in traditional labor law.
