Daniel Sulton concentrates his practice on representing management in employee benefits matters. His focus includes the design and maintenance of health and welfare employee benefit plans and ERISA compliance issues. Daniel also provides proactive counseling to management and defense of litigation involving employment laws, ERISA, and government inquiries.

Daniel is a frequent speaker on various health and welfare benefits plan related topics and routinely provides ERISA compliance advice to large employers including Fortune 500 companies.Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Daniel served as an Assistant General Counsel for a Fortune 500 energy company. In that role, he advised management at all levels on a broad range of employment, employee benefits and executive compensation matters. He also drafted executive and other employment agreements, severance agreements, nondisclosure agreements and third-party professional services agreements. Additionally, Daniel provided ERISA compliance or training to supervisors and high-level managers as well as handling employment and benefits related government inquiries, administrative charges and litigation against the company.
