Deborah S. Davidson is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Davidson represents clients on a wide range of employee benefits litigation matters, with a primary emphasis on litigation arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), in particular class action and multi-party ERISA actions. She has represented plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and service providers in lawsuits across the country involving employer securities and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), retirement plan investments, plan fees and expenses, retirement and health plan service providers, retiree medical benefits, various health and welfare plan issues, early retirement programs, top-hat plans, alleged cutback or elimination of accrued benefits, claims to recover plan benefits, preemption issues, and a variety of other ERISA claims. Her ERISA litigation experience extends through trial in class action settings as well as appellate work. She was named by the National Law Journal as one of Chicago's "40 Under 40 Rising Stars."
