Effie D. Silva is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Miami office.  She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, healthcare litigation and international arbitration matters. Effie represents foreign and domestic clients in various industries throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia in a wide range of federal, state and international arbitration matters involving contractual disputes, business torts, partnership dissolutions, FCPA and data privacy matters. She has a strong Latin American focus, and has extensive experience in representing major health care providers, hospitals and health care systems, physician groups in litigation, including non-compete, contractual and shareholder disputes.
