Emily has a comprehensive transactional practice, handling mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, and antitrust law. She represents buyers and sellers in stock and asset acquisition and divestiture transactions, and advises clients on general corporate matters including business planning, risk management, and reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. She works with both public and privately held companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, medical devices, and technology.

In the area of antitrust law, Emily is experienced assisting clients regarding joint venture and merger-related antitrust matters, including preparing and filing the Premerger Notification and Report Form for Certain Mergers and Acquisitions required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. She has helped clients, both domestic and foreign, obtain federal antitrust agency approval.  Emily also routinely advises clients on minimum advertised pricing and resale price maintenance policies.

Emily is committed to helping others through her pro bono efforts. She has partnered with Sojourner Family Peace Center, where she successfully represented dozens of individuals seeking restraining orders against domestic abusers.
