Erik Opsal joined the Communications and Strategy team at the Brennan Center in January 2011. As Communications Coordinator, Mr. Opsal works with program staff to devise media strategies, maximize press opportunities, organize events, edit publications, and execute public advocacy campaigns, specifically working on the Liberty & National Security, Campaign Finance Reform, Filibuster, Fair Courts, and Justice projects. He also contributes to web content, editing, and strategy. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Mr. Opsal worked as Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senator Russ Feingold.
