Gemma Newell joined Squire Patton Boggs in the Leeds office in June 2006. Gemma is a lawyer in our Planning team and is also involved in various aspects of compulsory purchase orders.

She advises both public and private sector clients on general planning matters, including detailed planning agreements, carrying out due diligence on land transactions and advising on permitted development rights and certificates of lawfulness. Gemma has significant experience in running planning appeals and assisting advocates at planning hearings and inquiries.
