Hannah Alejandro

Hannah Alejandro joined Katz, Marshall & Banks as an associate in February 2015. Ms. Alejandro received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2008 and her LL.M. as a legal scholarship Fellow in 2010. During her time at Georgetown, she held the position of research and editorial assistant on a number of book manuscripts written by prominent legal scholars, including legal philosopher Robin West’s “Normative Jurisprudence,” and a forthcoming authorized biography of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She also served as teaching assistant for visiting LL.M. students in the Leadership and Advocacy for Women in Africa program, and was summer associate in the litigation group of a national law firm. As a student and Fellow, Ms. Alejandro wrote on various topics, including racial discrimination law and bias on the Supreme Court, consumer protection law, and international voting practices. Following law school and her fellowships, Ms. Alejandro served as a law clerk to Judge Andre Davis on the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and to Judge Yvonne Williams on the D.C. Superior Court.

Prior to law school, Ms. Alejandro earned a B.F.A. at New York University and worked as a writer and private educator in the New York metro area.
