Harris Hoffberg is an associate in the Corporate Department. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, technology and media, and assisting clients in fulfilling privacy, data security, and data breach notification requirements imposed by federal and state laws and regulations.

While at Georgetown University Law Center, Harris interned at the Department of Justice Criminal Division in the frauds section where he assisted in prosecuting individuals in various countries who committed cybercrimes that utilized ransomware to extort payments from innocent people. He also interned at the Department of Justice Civil Division, Office of Immigration, Appellate Section where he submitted briefs to the Second and Ninth Circuits on behalf of the government. Harris served as a senior Staff editor of Georgetown University Law Center’s The Tax Lawyer.
