Ian Rockwell supports clients in advancing their causes through the Washington lobbying process. He conducts legislative, regulatory and industry research for clients and reviews trade press, agency releases and the broader media to keep clients and colleagues informed on issues in health care, appropriations and global health.

Ian also keeps tabs on political and electoral developments, drafts presentations and newsletters, and attends briefings, coalition meetings and congressional hearings to keep clients informed on the latest policy developments and changes in Washington.

Past Experience

Ian spent four years in the U.S. Senate as a staffer for Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). In that role, Ian worked on international affairs, global health and education, and became conversant in the congressional budgeting and appropriations processes. He also met with constituents and answered their inquiries on the Senator’s behalf while conducting research on legislation and nominations.
