Robert Sheppard is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Robert served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Jackson, Mississippi. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Albert Diaz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Honorable Neil P. Olack for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi.

Robert graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law and was an executive articles editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, which published his student comment, “Double Jeopardy Blues: Why in Light of Blueford v. Arkansas States Should Mandate Partial Verdicts in Acquit-First Transition Instruction Cases.”
