James C. Anderson is an Associate in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling and all aspects of litigation.
Mr. Anderson has experience with representing employers in court and before all state and federal agencies. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Anderson worked in a Central Valley law firm where he counseled employers, HR, and management staff on such matters as recruiting and hiring; wage and hour laws; employee handbooks; disciplinary actions; terminations; leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations; preventing discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; and compliance with other state and federal employment laws. Mr. Anderson has presented annual employment law legislative updates and other seminars on a variety of labor law topics to clients and associations.
