James Lowe, Jr. is a registered attorney before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office who offers 37 years of experience counseling businesses on intellectual property portfolio protection, monetization and management. In addition to his outside counsel experience, Jim served 16 years as in-house counsel to global innovators including service as chief patent counsel for two Fortune 1000 manufacturers.
Jim works closely with businesses around the world to develop and implement global and regional IP strategies, manage IP portfolios, handle international patent prosecution and negotiations, devise long term risk mitigation, initiate trademark litigation, and identify IP portfolio activities that can be internalized for cost optimization. He is also experienced in supporting mergers and acquisitions including IP asset valuation considerations.
