James Kritsas is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on intellectual property matters.
James received his J.D. magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was the conference editor for theLoyola University Chicago Law Journal. He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to law school, James worked as an engineer at Ambitech Engineering.
During law school, James served as a judicial extern for Judge Robert M. Dow, Jr., and Magistrate Judge Michael Mason of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
