James McDonnell’s practice is concentrated in the area of finance, with emphasis on securities law and regulation, credit, and insolvency. Mr. McDonnell advises clients on prime brokerage, derivatives, and the application of insolvency safe-harbors to financial transactions.

Mr. McDonnell received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from Amherst College. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York
