Jason L. Watkins is a Partner at Nelson Mullins' Boston office. He focuses his practice on corporate finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy litigation. He represents banks, alternative credit providers and borrowers in sophisticated transactions and distressed situations, and also advises real estate lenders in the structuring and restructuring of real estate loans and underlying financial vehicles. His bankruptcy litigation experience includes high-stakes disputes in the largest and most complex chapter 11 cases. He also has substantial experience advising on regulatory matters, including working with senior management at a global systemically important bank, monitoring public and private companies’ compliance with conditions imposed by government regulators, and counseling public company board directors.
