Jonah D. Retzinger

JONAH D. RETZINGER is a Member of the Firm in the Health Care & Life Sciences and Litigation & Business Disputes practices, in the Los Angeles and Washington, DC, offices of Epstein Becker Green.

After practicing in the firm’s Washington, DC, office for the first seven years of his career, Mr. Retzinger transitioned to Los Angeles in 2018. He is a co-leader of the firm’s Government Enforcement service team and represents health care organizations and health systems in False Claims Act (“FCA”) litigation, governmental investigations, and commercial disputes.

Apart from developing comprehensive litigation defense strategies and conducting historical analyses of regulatory schemes and the compliance function, Mr. Retzinger and his colleagues engage U.S. attorneys’ offices, as well as federal and state governmental agencies, including the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”), on matters such as intervention, the exercise of the U.S. Department of Justice’s FCA dismissal authority, and the determination of the appropriateness of Corporate Integrity Agreements and other integrity obligations.
