Joseph K. McKinney

Joseph McKinney focuses his practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, labor and employment law, minority business enterprises, and business immigration. Mr. McKinney has successfully defended clients in a wide range of legal matters including race, gender, and pregnancy discriminations, wrongful termination, FLSA wage and hour, Section 1983 claims, Governmental Tort Liability Act claims, enforcement of non-compete agreements, nursing home abuse, insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury and other tort actions. Mr. McKinney has also counseled clients on various aspects of the employment relationship (including hiring, discipline, and the creation and enforcement of employment agreements, separation agreements), entity formation, minority business certification, and the employment of immigrant workers.
