Kacy Dicke is an intellectual property lawyer focusing on patent litigation and prosecution related matters. She has a background in mechanical engineering and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to being a lawyer, Ms. Dicke worked as a global design engineer for a large chemical manufacturing company.
Ms. Dicke’s experience includes patent litigation matters before the Northern Districts of Illinois, the District of Delaware, the Southern District of California, the Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Western District of Tennessee both in supporting and defending charges of patent infringement. She is experienced in many phases of patent litigation, including motions to transfer venue, motions to dismiss, taking and defending depositions, fact and expert discovery, claim construction, and dispositive motion practice. Ms. Dicke also has experience in appellate practice before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
