Katherine Gillespie is a partner in the Real Estate, Land Use and Environmental Practice Group in the firm's Chicago office. She is Team Leader of the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance industry team.

Areas of Practice

Katherine focuses her practice on finance transactions, tax credit transactions, and merger and acquisition transactions, in each case, primarily in the renewable energy sector. Katherine also has extensive experience in leasing transactions.

Katherine has represented numerous developers, equity investors, lessors, and lessees in financing, acquisition, and leasing matters involving specialized facilities and equipment. Her tax credit transaction experience includes structuring, acquiring, and divesting interests in tax credit partnerships primarily relating to alternative energy credits.
