Kimberly O’Brien is special counsel and a business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Her focus centers around government procurement and public policy work.
Ms. O’Brien’s experience includes providing legal support, advice, and guidance regarding industry regulations applicable to government sales (FAR, DFAR, anti-kickback) and trade compliance matters, including Country of Origin and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). She assists her clients in drafting and negotiating a broad range of strategic commercial and government transactions, including federal supply schedule agreements, licensing agreements, master service and supply agreements.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. O’Brien spent many years as in-house counsel for a variety of Michigan-based companies, including a leading global medical technology company, an industry-leading defense contractor, one of the nation’s largest advertising agencies, and an automotive industry defense firm.
