Kimberly S. Tague is a Shareholder at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky and the Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Group. She has been with SMGG since 2012 and focuses in the practice areas of real estate law and complex commercial and civil litigation.
Ms. Tague represents clients in a variety of real estate matters including transactions, acquisitions, sales, title issues, residential and commercial leasing, property management, landlord/tenant disputes, planned community and condominium development and management, eminent domain, zoning and other land use matters. She is highly skilled in real estate tax exemption applications and has successfully obtained tax-exempt status for many clients.
Ms. Tague represents developers and homeowner/condominium associations in business matters and in litigation; she is well versed in matters related to the Pennsylvania Planned Community Act and Condominium Act and the interplay between developers and associations. She has extensive experience in landlord/tenant litigation on behalf of landlords for commercial and residential properties and is an approved Landlord/Tenant arbitrator for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Tague also counsels clients regarding land use matters including zoning and subdivision applications and appeals.
Ms. Tague is a seasoned litigator and manages a variety of civil and complex commercial litigation matters, including contract and real property disputes, real estate development cases, title disputes, shareholder disputes, including derivative and minority shareholder claims, landlord/tenant cases, eminent domain and oil and gas litigation.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Tague is a licensed real estate broker and the broker of record for Counsel Real Estate, a concierge real estate brokerage company.
