Laura Powers

Laura Powers is a marketing strategist with a history of developing award-winning campaigns that create continuity of brand, Web, print and promotion. Laura understands how design and image components fit within comprehensive marketing programs – building brands and their affinities. Laura regularly manages a broad range of marketing and promotion collateral including interactive websites, annual reports, company catalogs, product and service brochures, capabilities, brand identity and correlating pieces, ongoing quarterly newsletters and e-marketing newsletters. 

Laura has held integral marketing roles in such well-known organizations as Verizon, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Comcast and Merrill Lynch, just to name a few. In 1996, she founded HG Marketing Group, LLC, an independent women-owned marketing agency that served as a strategic affiliate to Furia Rubel until their merger in 2010. Laura began her career as a publication designer in the healthcare industry, owned an award-winning advertising agency, and is familiar with all facets and mediums of the creative marketing industry.

Among her many accomplishments are the prestigious Communicator Award of Excellence from the International Academy of Visual Arts and a Golden Web Award from the International Association of Web Masters and Designers.
