Laure Sguario is an Associate in Vedder Price’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Investment Services practice group.

Ms. Sguario concentrates her practice on representing private equity funds and hedge funds in fund formation, regulatory compliance, general corporate and governance matters. She has assisted with the launch of various private funds both domestically and in the European Union, and frequently advises private fund clients regarding regulatory and compliance issues under European and Luxembourgish securities and investment funds laws. Ms. Sguario also has experience helping clients manage cross-border transactions, such as acquisitions, capital restructurings and share transfers.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Sguario was an Associate in the Asset Management and Investment Funds group of a leading law firm based in Luxembourg.

Ms. Sguario received a Master of Laws from Boston University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Business and Tax Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and HEC Paris. She received her Bachelor of Laws from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
