Linda Otaigbe is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She focuses her practice on employment litigation and preventive counseling. Ms. Otaigbe counsels in-house attorneys, HR professionals, and business leaders on best employment practices. She works on matters arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as well as whistleblower and retaliation claims.
Ms. Otaigbe has broad experience dealing with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, MSHA, federal and state OSHA enforcement agencies, the U.S. Department of Labor, and state and local labor and employment agencies. Ms. Otaigbe has conducted internal investigations to assess the veracity of employment claims alleged against senior executives. She also has experience advising employers on employee manuals, safety and health program manuals, and on drafting and negotiating employment contracts, including separation agreements and non-compete agreements.
