Lukas Wasylow-Neuhaus

Lukas Wasylow-Neuhaus advises clients on all aspects of public law and regulated markets.

His practice focuses on environmental and planning law. Lukas has profound knowledge and many years of experience in advising and representing private companies in the waste management sector as well as in advising on all environmental law issues, in particular soil protection and emission control law. Due to his in-depth insights into the processes and procedures of the industry companies, which he was able to gather, for example, in the course of his pre-lawyer activities with a French building materials company, his advice is characterized by client-specific and goal-oriented approaches to solutions.

Lukas also advises his clients on all matters relating to environmental and planning law in connection with the acquisition or development of real estate. In particular, he accompanies administrative procedures for the creation of building rights, for compensation area management under nature conservation law, and for soil and groundwater remediation in the revitalization of contaminated sites.

Lukas is currently deepening his special knowledge of nature conservation law as part of a doctoral thesis that is nearing completion.

Prior to joining McDermott, Lukas worked for several renowned German commercial law firms in the field of environmental and planning law as well as for a French construction materials group.
