Mark has a corporate and securities practice that focuses on a variety of transactional and governance matters. He represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, venture capital, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Mark has acted as lead counsel in transactions of all types and size, including General Motors Company in its $3.5 billion acquisition of AmeriCredit Corp. that was recognized as "Deal of the Year" by The Deal magazine.
Mark counsels both private, public and nonprofit boards of directors on governance and other matters (including securities law and fiduciary obligations). He has in-depth experience in acquiring, disposing and advising entities in financial distress and advises companies in all aspects of international transactions. In addition, Mark's practice regularly involves intellectual property issues such as trademark and technology ownership, protection and licensing.
