Maura K. Winston is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Tax Practice. Ms. Winston focuses her practice on tax controversy and tax litigation, including representing clients before the U.S. Tax Court, the Internal Revenue Service, and state taxing authorities.  

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Winston served as a law clerk to Judge Kathleen Kerrigan of the U.S. Tax Court. Prior to her clerkship she worked in the mergers and acquisitions tax group of a Big 4 accounting firm in both Silicon Valley and New York, where she advised technology and financial sector clients on cross-border acquisitions and reorganizations.
