Monica Wedgewood is an attorney in the Madison office of von Briesen. Monica represents family law clients in a variety of matters, including divorce, child custody and placement, paternity, and support issues. She is committed to working with clients to navigate challenging family situations and achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Monica also represents individuals and businesses in commercial and business litigation disputes including contract and lease disputes, construction defects and property damage claims, shareholder disputes, and general civil litigation matters. She helps clients develop strategies and understand potential outcomes, and strongly advocates for her client’s best interests at every stage of the dispute.
In law school, Monica was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review and the Wisconsin Moot Court Board. She took first place in the Burton D. Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition and was the recipient of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Wisconsin Chapter Award for Family Law.
