Naomi Kefford is an associate in the Environmental, Health & Safety team in Perth. She has previously had experience in the Real Estate team and has most recently practised in the Northern Territory where she worked with the Darwin Litigation team.
Naomi has recently played a major role in delivering the “Review of Building Industry Regulatory Framework in the Northern Territory” (November 2015) for the Northern Territory Department of Lands, Planning and the Environment. The Report makes recommendations for holistic reform in across the following areas of building regulation:
residential warranty insurance (the current Fidelity Fund)
building contractors licensing
Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs, Naomi provided paralegal support to an adjudicator for the Construction Contracts Act 2004 (WA) for three years. She also provided administrative support to tribunal members of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and Migration Review Tribunal.
