Nicholas Ersoy is an associate in K&L Gates' Washington, D.C. office, where he is a member of the investment management, hedge funds, and alternative investments practice group. Nicholas focuses his practice on representing registered investment companies, with an emphasis on exchange-traded funds, and their independent board members on regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters arising under the U.S. federal securities laws. He has experience drafting and reviewing registration statements, shareholder reports, and other legal documentation relating to the formation, registration, and ongoing operation of investment companies.

Before joining the firm, Nicholas was a legal intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Trading and Markets, as well as a legal intern for the leading global association of regulated funds. He previously served as a summer associate at K&L Gates in 2018.
