Nisrin Abelin is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery and is based in the Firm’s Paris office. She focuses her practice on litigation with a particular focus on local and cross-border disputes.
Nisrin was educated at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne where she obtained a Master 2 in International Commercial Law and a Master 1 specialized in Business Law from the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. She also completed a Master's degree specialized in Business Law and International Law at the USC Gould School of Law in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to joining McDermott, Nisrin was a trainee at other prestigious international law firms in France and abroad. She also worked within the legal departments of a major French listed company and the Minister of Economic Affairs, Finances and Industry.
Nisrin is admitted to the Paris Bar.
