Patricia Heyen is a litigation attorney who helps businesses resolve labor and employment disputes, including those involving:

  • Discrimination and harassment claims under the Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA and equivalent state laws;

  • Unemployment insurance claims before the North Carolina Division of Employment Security;

  • Claims of wrongful termination and retaliation; and

  • Alleged wage and hour law violations

In addition, Patricia counsels business clients on federal and state labor and employment law compliance, in order to help their companies avoid potential litigation. Patricia works with companies in drafting employment policies, handbooks, and employment agreements.
