Rolando Gonzalez is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Orange County office.
As an intellectual property (IP) attorney, Rolando focuses his practice on patent prosecution, concentrating on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for a wide range of technologies, including wireless communication technologies, semiconductor and integrated circuit technologies, mechanical systems and software applications. Rolando also has significant experience in IP strategic planning, patent portfolio management and opinion work, as well as due diligence in connection with licensing and patent acquisitions.
Rolando received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School with a concentration in intellectual property law. He received his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
