Ryan Gilsenan is an admiralty and maritime attorney who represents owners and insurers of commercial ships in performing causation and damage analyses of collisions and machinery failure. Ryan has investigated, assisted and represented vessel interests in groundings, collisions, cargo claims, pollution incidents, and personal injuries to longshoremen and crew. Ryan also has executed Rule B attachments of vessels and bunkers, and negotiated terms of charter parties on behalf of charterers of crude oil tankers.
In addition, he has experience reviewing and modifying vessel charter parties for the oil industry, as well as pursuing collection matters pursuant to tariffs required by the Federal Maritime Commission.
He also practices in litigation involving real property, trade secrets, contracts and product liability.
