Professional Biography

Sarah brings her passionate and energetic nature to her work drafting legal memoranda, motions and briefs, as well as in communicating with and interviewing parties and potential class members. Thorough, yet efficient, she prides herself on being a good listener who works to find the solution that fits her client’s needs.

Sarah enhanced her research and writing skills, and specifically her knowledge of constitutional law issues, serving as a research assistant to professor Timothy Lovelace at Indiana University Maurer School of Law on a book project and to professor Steve Sanders for “Pavan v. Smith: Equality for Gays and Lesbians in Being Married, Not Just in Getting Married,” which was published by the American Constitution Society.

During law school, Sarah gained additional knowledge as a judicial extern for the Honorable David F. Hamilton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where she drafted an appellate opinion, and as a legal intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
