Sohini Bose, PhD focuses her practice on US and foreign patent application preparation, prosecution and intellectual property strategy development covering a wide range of technologies in the life sciences space. Sohini also assists clients with patent landscape analysis, freedom-to-operate and invalidity opinions.
Sohini completed her postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital developing functional validation assays to identify small molecule candidates for promoting differentiation of cardiac stem cells. She also interned with the intellectual property and patent team at the Research Ventures and Licensing Office of Partners HealthCare in Boston. Sohini received her PhD in biological sciences from State University of New York, where she studied the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular stress responses in yeast cells. She obtained her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in zoology.
