As a member of the firm’s Corporate Services practice group, Stephen J. Evans focuses on employee benefits and ERISA matters.
From design through implementation, Stephen counsels employers, plan sponsors and administrators in all aspects of employee welfare and qualified retirement plans. He advises on compliance with federal and state laws affecting these plans, including the Affordable Care Act and HIPAA.
Stephen guides employee benefit plans with plan administration and compliance, plan benefit design, plan governance, fiduciary risk, claims and appeals determinations, administrative services agreements, and withdrawal liability. He has also been involved in all stages of ERISA collection matters and litigation.
