Yun Chen joined Keller and Heckman in 2014. Ms. Chen practices in the area of food and drug law. Ms. Chen advises foreign and domestic clients regarding compliance with international regulations on food additives, food packaging and labeling, with an emphasis on legal regimes in the Asia-Pacific region.
While in law school, Ms. Chen served as an Article Editor for the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review and as a teaching assistant in legal writing courses. With a background in physics, economics and applied mathematics, Ms. Chen has four years of teaching and researching experience while attending graduate school at University of Michigan as a recipient of the Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund from the Tokyo Foundation. Additionally, Ms. Chen has experience representing indigent clients on civil matters while working as a staff attorney at Legal Services NYC in New York.
Ms. Chen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Shanghainese.
