While we continue to confront the COVID-19 pandemic, society has undoubtedly experienced a dramatic disruption that has impacted individuals in various ways. This program will address the key legal considerations for employers who continue to reopen workplaces, including the key factors that determine when and how employees can return to the workplace during the COVID pandemic. Proskauer partner Harris Mufson will be joined by esteemed panelist Lisa M. Koonin, DrPH, MN, MPH, Founder of Health Preparedness Partners. Having served as a leader in multiple national and international health emergency responses, Lisa spent 15 years of her 31 year career at The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) focused on pandemic planning and response. She served as the Deputy Director (2016-2018) and Acting Director (2015-2016) of the CDC’s Influenza Coordination Unit; the office that led the CDC’s pandemic planning, and was one of the original architects of the organization’s social distancing guidance.
