As the Ball Drops: Key HR Considerations, including Connecticut’s New Employment Laws and a Special Update on I-9 Compliance for Remote Workplaces

Employers across Connecticut are looking toward the upcoming year and preparing their workplaces to meet the challenges and opportunities that will arise in 2022. This webinar will focus on important legal developments that might affect Connecticut workplaces in the coming year, and practical tips and advice for complying with them. For example, what revisions should be made to employee handbooks in 2022? We will discuss state and federal laws, including wage disclosure obligations, recreational marijuana, and employer provisions going into effect in July 2022; Connecticut’s Family and Medical Leave Act, including paid leave; the status of the various COVID-19 vaccine mandates; and other topics.
