Brexit from a Food Business Perspective: The Potential Impact on EU Food Law and the Future Relationship Between the EU and the UK

Webinar, Hosted By Keller and Heckman LLP

Tuesday, September 27, 2016 - 10:00 AM

The UK's referendum 'Leave' vote on the 23rd June 2016 took everyone by surprise, especially within the UK. It is still unclear whether and when the UK may trigger the start of the split negotiations, which themselves may last up to 2 years. While the response to the "whether" is likely positive, the response to the "when" remains obscure and may extend until late 2017.

Join Keller and Heckman speakers from our European offices as they review the options of the future UK/EU relationship that are likely to be considered by the negotiators. The webinar will present and discuss the potential short and longer term impact that Brexit will have on the development and enforcement of EU food law.

This program will be the first in a series of webinars addressing Brexit. The details of a webinar dedicated to the impact on food contact materials legislation will be communicated shortly.
