A Deep Dive for HR Professionals Administering Leave Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act: What Employers Need to Know
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to sweep the nation, employers have an additional compliance obligation related to the implementation and administration of the leave provisions under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). Since the FFCRA became law on March 18, 2020, the government has continued to release a myriad of guidance on the proper implementation of the FFCRA, which makes leave available through December 31, 2020. This webinar will take a deep dive into the FFCRA and the various nuances employers should be aware of, from determining whether and when an employee may use other paid leave in conjunction with the FFCRA to calculating an employee’s pay while on leave, and understanding the applicable record-keeping obligations.
