Environmental Crisis Management: What You Need to Know about the Government’s Expanded Worker Endangerment Initiative
Seminar, Hosted By Faegre Drinker
Tuesday, June 21, 2016 - 2:00 AM
The U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Labor are taking specific steps to bring more criminal prosecutions for environmental and worker safety violations, through an expansion of the Worker Endangerment Initiative. When a major incident occurs that results in release of pollutants or causes harm to workers, there is now an increased likelihood of a criminal investigation and potential criminal prosecution.
Join us for a CLE breakfast program that will provide practical insights on crisis management for these types of environmental and workplace incidents. Our experienced practitioners will be joined by Len Biegel, a nationally recognized expert on communication to the public and various stakeholders in the immediate aftermath of an incident.
