In July 2016, the Department of Labor (DOL) proposed a number of revisions to Form 5500.  As part of these revisions, the DOL is asking plan sponsors to provide additional information about the operations, financial conditions, and administration of their retirement and health plans.  Regardless of whether the revisions are finalized, the DOL's proposed information requests provide insight into the issues the agency will likely focus on in future audits or other investigative situations. 

In this webinar, we will highlight the Form 5500 revisions most likely to affect plan sponsors and provide guidance on the administrative practices plan sponsors should update or implement to help them avoid or address possible scrutiny by the DOL.
