New laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”), and the proposed ePrivacy Regulation, will have a significant impact on online tracking. At the same time online technologies themselves are undergoing significant changes in respond to the deprecation of third-party cookies and platform providers requiring consumer consent. 

This program will provide an update on the current state of the law in the United States and Europe when it comes to the use of cookies, pixels, scripts, and other tracking technologies online.
