Chad Lee

Chad Lee represents clients in a variety of civil matters, ranging from post-merger contract disputes to civil RICO claims. He also counsels clients seeking to avoid or prepare for potential litigation. For example, he regularly advises corporations on potential governance disputes and advises financial institutions on the implications of LIBOR cessation. Chad also maintains an active pro bono practice and recently won a more than 30-year sentence reduction for one of his clients.

Chad received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Michigan Law Review. He also earned his M.A. in economics from Michigan State University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University.  He completed post-B.A. studies in Chinese and economics at Nanjing University in China. Prior to law school, Chad worked in economic consulting, regularly advising financial institutions on fair lending issues.
