Employers rely on attorney Dana Berber to defend them in sensitive employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and whistleblowing disputes before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts. She also participates in labor arbitrations and unfair labor practice hearings.

A trusted advisor, Dana counsels employers on practices and procedures, including employment policies and handbooks, benefits, wage and hour laws, job classification, reductions in force, and early retirement incentive programs. She also advises on issues in union and non-union settings, including hiring, discipline, termination, wage and hour, trade secret / non-compete matters, benefits, disability leave and accommodations, and COVID-19-related matters. In addition, clients count on Dana to draft employment policies and handbooks, as well as employment, separation, and non-compete agreements, and to train management and employees on anti-discrimination best practices and developments.

While attending law school, Dana served as an Alexander Fellows Judicial Intern with the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where she researched and wrote on employment discrimination and other issues. She also was a Judicial Intern for Magistrate Judge Mark Falk of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
